Pastor Joel preaches from John 10:10: The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.

Key points include:
  • The thief's methods are DECEPTION and MANIPULATION.
  • If the thief can get into your head, he can manipulate you.
  • The devil can't read your mind (he's not all-knowing like God).
  • But he can put thoughts into your mind (Ezekiel 38:10).
Four ways Christians are being stolen from and manipulated by the thief:
  1. Christians are being kept ignorant of the Word of God and of who they are In-Christ (Isaiah 5:11-13).
  2. Christians are being manipulated into thinking that their friends are their enemies and that their enemies are their friends (Luke 9:49-50).
  3. Christians are being manipulated into divisions.
  4. Christians are being manipulated into thinking that they have more time than they really have.
