This series contains some amazing practical truths from the Word of God. There are seasons in life. Every season in life has a PURPOSE and a FUNCTION. If I know what season I'm in, I can be fruitful in my season!

Seasons #8 - Wintertime

Wintertime is a season of ending. Sometimes there are things that need to end in order to make way for something new. 

The heart of this message is on how wintertime is a season in which I can expect to receive revelation of my own heart. Spiritual wintertime is a season in which I can deal with character flaws before they impact future harvests. 

Seasons #7 - Autumn (Harvest)

Why is it that I am more acquainted with sowing in springtime and with persevering through hardship of spiritual summertime than I am with harvesting success in my spiritual autumn?

This is the heart of message #7 in this series. Pastor looks at 3 primary causes for harvest failure:
  1. I don't recognize my season (Luke 19:41-44)
  2. I abort or sabotage my own season (Deuteronomy 1:22-36)
  3. I don't put God first in my life (Haggai 1:2-11)
Pastor concludes with a very simple formula for success:
MY OBEDIENCE + GOD'S TIMING = SUCCESS at HARVEST TIME

In Message #4 pastor preaches on the importance of living in-season. 
  • There are some seasons in life that I am not meant to return to. 
  • My efforts to get back to some past seasons will cause me to be unfruitful in my present season. 
  • My future is determined by my present. 
  • An example of a man who got this wrong is King Saul (1 Samuel 15-18).
  • An example of a man who got this correct is Joseph (Genesis 37, 39-48, 50).

In Message #2 we look at 4 ways that the devil tries to lure a Christian into compromise:
  1. Serve the Lord "within the land"
  2. Serve the Lord, but just don't go very hard after God
  3. Adults only: devil doesn't care if you go to heaven if he can take your kids to hell!
  4. No resources: if he can't get you or your kids, he'll go after your resources

  • Events are open doors; Processes are roads that take us places in life!
  • God is all about the Processes in life. 
  • Processes need development.
  • Development of Processes happens in a context called SEASONS.
  • In the life of a Christian there is a season of new birth that begins right after that person is born again.
