One way of looking at the Bible is to see it as a record of two things:

(1) God giving assignments to human beings to accomplish, and

(2) Human beings responding to their God-given assignments. 

In this first teaching Pastor Joel lays a foundation by looking at the first God-given calling and God-given assignment given to a human being.
