Our Pastors & Leadership

Pastor Joel Toppen

Hello, my name is Pastor Joel. I’m blessed to be the lead pastor of the Four Winds Assembly of God church. My wife, Erica, serves in the office and runs our pre-teen children’s church ministry. We moved to Browning, Montana from Gallup, New Mexico after serving for 15 years in our last church. Both Erica and I have lived most of our lives among Native Americans. Our heart is to see a Holy Spirit awakening among our Native American communities.

My passion is the Word of God. I love teaching the Bible! More than that, I love seeing people connect with God’s Word, discover how it applies to their life! I want to see our church be a place where people can come and be equipped by God’s Word, empowered by God’s Spirit, and enriched with an authentic relationship with Jesus.

Because I believe the Bible teaches that the church is more than just a place or a facility, we are intentional about relationship development. Relationship with God is, of course, most important. But also, relationship with the family of God. I find that relationship is essential to discipleship. And it’s through discipleship that we grow into the person God has always wanted for us to become!

Pastor Ben Gallagher-Horn

Hi, I’m Ben Gallagher-Horn, my wife MollyJo and I serve as the youth and worship pastors here at Four Winds. I am from Browning, MT and am an enrolled member of the Blackfeet nation. I grew up around Montana and have lived in the Flathead valley, Missoula, and Helena but have spent most of my time here in Browning. MollyJo moved up to Montana in 2015 from Missouri as a missionary. She completed her discipleship training school with the Youth With A Mission: Tribal Waves base in Pablo, MT and worked in Eureka, MT at a youth ranch for girls before moving to Browning, MT. Both MollyJo and I are also heavily involved with Indian Youth Camp throughout the year alongside the ministry here at Four Winds. We also just welcomed our first little girl Abigail Eilis into the world on September 17th, 2022. We are both so grateful and thankful for the blessings and gifts that God has given us to steward. Both as a family and in ministry. Here at the church, our vision is to be a part of the overall mission of Four Winds Assembly of God. We long to see families impacted and transformed through the revelation of the gospel and empowered by the Holy Spirit. We want to enable the youth to develop personal relationships with God and equip them to successfully navigate their walk with the Lord. Our goal is to help them develop spiritual disciplines through which they can experience genuine encounters with God. Disciplines such as biblical literacy, daily prayer, consistent fellowship, and critical thinking within the context of applying biblical principles to their everyday life. Regarding the worship ministry, our goal is to provide an atmosphere in which people can not only freely worship God, but also grow. We believe that it is through genuine encounters with God that spiritual growth and maturity is obtained. Overall, our goal is simply to enable a Jesus centered environment through which the Holy Spirit can move and have his way so that people are enabled to experience the fulness of God.
