Reflections on Sunday's Message:

posted Oct 25, 2020, 8:47 AM by Joel Toppen   [ updated Jan 24, 2021, 8:54 AM ]

Here's some questions for family or group discussion based on Sunday's Message from 2 Thessalonians chapter 3:
  1. One of the really useful things we find in this week’s chapter is a guide on how we might pray for a work of ministry. What ministries came to your mind as you heard the message this morning? How do you intend to pray for these works of ministry?
  2. Why does Scripture place such importance on our own personal conduct?
  3. When it comes to disciplining someone for unacceptable behavior (whether our children, employees, or anyone entrusted to our care), why is it important to bring both grace and truth?
  4. How did God show YOU grace and truth?
  5. What has the Word of God produced in your life?

Online Service

posted Oct 3, 2020, 5:49 PM by Joel Toppen   [ updated Oct 3, 2020, 5:50 PM ]

Due to rising number of COVID cases in our community we will be doing services ONLINE until further notice:
  • Sunday service can be viewed from our website (see home page) at 11:00am (it will be available to watch throughout the week, so if you miss it you can go back and watch it later).
  • Monday night Recovery groups will NOT meet again for at least two weeks.
  • Here’s what we CAN do TOGETHER: each day at noon, stop what you’re doing and pray for people in our community that they make a full recovery from this virus.

Outdoor Church Service

posted Jul 11, 2020, 12:28 PM by Joel Toppen

Due to the community spread of COVID19 we were asked to suspend indoor Sunday services, and small group meetings (as of June 27). As weather allows, and as we get permission from Incident Command, we will conduct outdoor services in our parking lot. Here's how it will work:

  1. We'll bring our sound system outdoors. Service will begin at 11:00am and will conclude at noon.
  2. Worshippers are welcome to stay in their vehicle. We'll be transmitting on an FM station so that folks can listen from their car radio.
  3. Restroom facilities in our building will be accessible, but masks must be worn indoors.
  4. We sure hope you can make it out!

Church Reopening Soon!

posted Jun 7, 2020, 7:58 AM by Joel Toppen

Hey Church Family! We are getting close to where we can reopen for regular Sunday Morning Services. We will be submitting our phased reopening plan to the Tribe this week. Stay tuned for details.

I know we have been able to do services online during the COVID virus shutdown, but since the weather has been a bit warmer (and we've all been a bit stir crazy!), we are doing service outside in the parking lot this morning!

We are doing Parking Lot Praise service outdoors at 11am. For those unable to attend, we have already uploaded pastor's message to our YouTube channel:

If you missed any of the devotional teachings from this past week, you can check out each day's message from this YouTube playlist

Each message focuses on on of the furnishings from the Tabernacle of Moses. Each of these six furnishings gives us a tool that we can use in prayer to prepare our hearts to enter into the presence of God!

Here's some highlights from last week's devotional videos:

"Yet Even Now"

posted Mar 26, 2020, 10:45 AM by Joel Toppen   [ updated Mar 26, 2020, 10:45 AM ]

Joel 2:12–13 says,
“Yet even now,” declares the LORD,
“Return to Me with all your heart,
And with fasting, weeping and mourning;
And rend your heart and not your garments.”
Now return to the LORD your God,
For He is gracious and compassionate,
Slow to anger, abounding in lovingkindness
And relenting of evil.

I love how the MESSAGE Bible paraphrases this passage:

Joel 2:12–13 (The Message)
But there’s also this, it’s not too late— GOD’s personal Message!— “Come back to me and really mean it! Come fasting and weeping, sorry for your sins!”
Change your life, not just your clothes. Come back to GOD, your God. And here’s why: God is kind and merciful. He takes a deep breath, puts up with a lot, This most patient God, extravagant in love, always ready to cancel catastrophe.

Yesterday pastor did a short devotional that was centered on this passage. You can check it out on our YouTube channel:

How To Give Tithes And Offerings During This Time

posted Mar 22, 2020, 9:49 AM by Joel Toppen   [ updated Mar 22, 2020, 9:49 AM ]

Because we are temporarily unable to have gatherings, we are unable to collect offerings. Here's a couple ways that you can continue to give your tithes and offerings:
  1. First, you can mail checks to the church: P.O. Box 1991, Browning, MT 59417
  2. You can drop off your offering at the church (look for the Open sign) or at the parsonage behind the church.
  3. You can give online through PayPal by clicking on the "Donate" button below.

Thank you for your generosity and faithfulness during this season!

"Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness."
