Reflections on Today's Message

Here's some questions for family or group discussion based on Sunday's Message from Acts chapter 8:
  1. Being “led by the Holy Spirit” can take on many different forms. What are some ways that you have come to realize that God was leading you in your life?
  2. How can we position ourselves to be sensitive to Holy Spirit’s instructions?
  3. What are some ways that we have seen God give instructions to people in the book of Acts?

Church Is Re-Opening on Sunday Mornings!

posted Jan 31, 2021, 8:41 AM by Joel Toppen   [ updated Jan 31, 2021, 8:42 AM ]

We’re excited to announce that we are able to re-open on Sunday mornings!
This decision is in step with the Blackfeet Tribe’s announcement of Phase 2 implementation.

We thought it would be helpful for people to get a sense of what to expect on Sunday mornings. While we are re-opening, we will be observing a number of precautions to help prevent the spread of COVID19:
  1. Come expecting to find the facility clean and sanitary. We’ve always been committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Before each gathering we sanitize all rooms where people will be gathering.
  2. When you come to church, please bring and prepare to wear your own face mask while inside the building. While we do have masks on hand for people who forget to bring one, we do not have an inexhaustible supply. Please do not take one unless you need one.
  3. We’ve reduced our seating capacity to coincide with the Tribal restrictions. Families should sit together. A 6-foot distance should be kept from other families.
  4. We will have a children’s church service for pre-teens, and youth group for teens. Social distancing will be practiced for these classes.
  5. Come expecting to encounter the presence of God! We expect a continuation of the moving of God’s Spirit as His people gather together in His Name!
For those still unable to attend, we will maintain our Online Service from our YouTube Channel and Facebook Page. You can always find the Online Service from our website (see the video link on our home page).

Online Service

posted Oct 3, 2020, 5:49 PM by Joel Toppen   [ updated Oct 3, 2020, 5:50 PM ]

Due to rising number of COVID cases in our community we will be doing services ONLINE until further notice:
  • Sunday service can be viewed from our website (see home page) at 11:00am (it will be available to watch throughout the week, so if you miss it you can go back and watch it later).
  • Monday night Recovery groups will NOT meet again for at least two weeks.
  • Here’s what we CAN do TOGETHER: each day at noon, stop what you’re doing and pray for people in our community that they make a full recovery from this virus.

Outdoor Church Service

posted Jul 11, 2020, 12:28 PM by Joel Toppen

Due to the community spread of COVID19 we were asked to suspend indoor Sunday services, and small group meetings (as of June 27). As weather allows, and as we get permission from Incident Command, we will conduct outdoor services in our parking lot. Here's how it will work:

  1. We'll bring our sound system outdoors. Service will begin at 11:00am and will conclude at noon.
  2. Worshippers are welcome to stay in their vehicle. We'll be transmitting on an FM station so that folks can listen from their car radio.
  3. Restroom facilities in our building will be accessible, but masks must be worn indoors.
  4. We sure hope you can make it out!

Church Reopening Soon!

posted Jun 7, 2020, 7:58 AM by Joel Toppen

Hey Church Family! We are getting close to where we can reopen for regular Sunday Morning Services. We will be submitting our phased reopening plan to the Tribe this week. Stay tuned for details.

I know we have been able to do services online during the COVID virus shutdown, but since the weather has been a bit warmer (and we've all been a bit stir crazy!), we are doing service outside in the parking lot this morning!

We are doing Parking Lot Praise service outdoors at 11am. For those unable to attend, we have already uploaded pastor's message to our YouTube channel:

Tabernacle Prayer

If you missed any of the devotional teachings from this past week, you can check out each day's message from this YouTube playlist

Each message focuses on on of the furnishings from the Tabernacle of Moses. Each of these six furnishings gives us a tool that we can use in prayer to prepare our hearts to enter into the presence of God!

Here's some highlights from last week's devotional videos:

What Is God Saying In All Of This?

"Yet Even Now"

Joel 2:12–13 says,
“Yet even now,” declares the LORD,
“Return to Me with all your heart,
And with fasting, weeping and mourning;
And rend your heart and not your garments.”
Now return to the LORD your God,
For He is gracious and compassionate,
Slow to anger, abounding in lovingkindness
And relenting of evil.

I love how the MESSAGE Bible paraphrases this passage:

Joel 2:12–13 (The Message)
But there’s also this, it’s not too late— GOD’s personal Message!— “Come back to me and really mean it! Come fasting and weeping, sorry for your sins!”
Change your life, not just your clothes. Come back to GOD, your God. And here’s why: God is kind and merciful. He takes a deep breath, puts up with a lot, This most patient God, extravagant in love, always ready to cancel catastrophe.

Yesterday pastor did a short devotional that was centered on this passage. You can check it out on our YouTube channel:
